We asked Dave Naxton of DPN professional car valeting to do a leather clean and protect on a BMW 520d so you can see the results of our LTT Leather care products. Dave has been fully trained by LTT Leather Care. To Clean, Protect and Repair leather.
On arriving he started off by evaluating the leathers condition and then talking through with the customer what options were available and what end results could be achieved. This was a fairly common job especially for white leather seats, as you can see mainly dye transfer was present on the leathers surface.

Step 1 - testing
Dave started off by performing a small spot test under the seat, to see if the leathers coating would be affected by the cleaning products he was about to use. All was well.
Step 2 - Application
Dave started the cleaning process with some LTT leather cleaner (Strong).
He taped off a small area to show a 50/50.
First applying a small amount of product on to a pro cleaning sponge then rubbing with moderate pressure.
Not all of the dye transfer was removed with the strong cleaner so Dave switched to the LTT Maxi strength leather cleaner .
Again repeating the above process this removed the dye transfer a treat

Step 3 - Drying
He dried the seat off with a white lint free cloth (Which is ideal for checking what’s being removed from the leather)
The seat was then completely dried off with the use of a hair dryer.
Step 3 - Leather protection
A coating of LTT Ultra Leather Protect was applied using a clean lint free cloth, this is absorbed by the leather seat conditioning it and will help protect the seat from dye transfer in the future.

A lovely clean and protected matt finish.
The complete interior was then prepared in the same way. Here are a couple of selected interior shots
